This project involved the development of a robust product authenticator system designed to ensure the authenticity of products throughout the supply chain. The system allows for the generation of bulk authentication keys tied to each product’s unique serial number. For each key, a QR code is automatically generated, which can be printed on the product packaging or label.
When a customer or supply chain partner scans the QR code with a mobile device, the system instantly verifies the product’s authenticity. It provides crucial details such as the confirmation of authenticity, the last location where the product was scanned, and the total number of times it has been scanned. This not only helps in verifying the product’s legitimacy but also aids in tracking and monitoring its movement.
The project addresses critical issues related to counterfeit goods and provides a reliable, scalable solution for businesses to protect their brand integrity and build customer trust.
